This means that without the driver recognition ID tag present it remains immobilised. You’ll also be alerted by phone from the MetaTrak Secure Operating Centre within a minute of an attempt to start the vehicle without a fob being present. Also provides journey history, in-depth tracking, battery alerts, theft support, and more.

Random little job from the other day - removing a faulty Moss 80's alarm system from this old classic Astra GTE 16v. It hadn't ran for many years and was immobilised due to a faulty old immobiliser, so after some diagnosis, poking, prodding, and reverting wiring back to standard it was finally back alive - not before discovering the fuel pump and filter both had splits in them and were blocked solid. Pump, filter and lines/cradle rebuilt and customer says back to working fine. Good fun old cars.. usually..
